My experience with MCA has been pretty good! The only problem is that I have to live in near constant fear of expulsion. As it is a religious school, they have deemed it necessary to kick out students just for being LGBT+. It's caused a lot of heavy depression and anxiety. But if you're straight it's an okay school
Mount Carmel Academy is a community of encouragement, love, and learning; throughout my five years here, I have made friends to last a lifetime not only with my peers but with the teachers that I have learned incredible life skills from. I have been challenged and awakened by the thoughtful ideas of my fellow students, and my teachers have brought out the best of me in not only academics but character. I have grown to be an independent thinker and believe that the school has prepared me very well for college because of the rigorous academics. The spirit of the school is what truly defines the beauty of the community though, for the sisterhood of every student and alumnus is powerful throughout the generations.
