Morgan Park Academy cares about it's students! You are able to get one on one assistance with your teachers if you need help. I attended this school from pre-school-3 to 12th grade, needless to say I was a super lifer at that school! Although the class size was really small (<30 graduating class) I really think that helped me learn to understand others and navigate through conflict. MPA prepared me for my college career through academics and the general care it has for students. If you (or someone you know) is considering MPA, do it, looking back I am grateful for the lessons I have learned (academically and socially) as a result of being a student at MPA.

Going to Morgan Park Academy was life changing. The teachers are incredible. The students are so different in their backgrounds and interests. The school itself is so small that you leave knowing almost everyone. The school becomes your family. When you leave, you leave a much more cultured person than before. The ethnicities that are represented at the school are vast and eye opening. My best friends are either Syrian, black, or Hispanic. The ability to meet people from all over the world and to develop lifelong friendships with them is something I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. Everyone there has such a great appreciation for different cultures because of the students and the national and international trip opportunities available. I traveled to Costa Rica, Peru, and Thailand through the school. I improved my Spanish speaking skills on these trips while being exposed to different ways of life around the world. I am more educated and independent because of Morgan Park Academy.
I love the small class sizes and how the teachers will always be willing to meet with you. Our campus is beautiful and since it used to be a military school in 1873 it has so much history. Since Morgan Park Academy is so small it allows for students to participate in many clubs which I have taken advantage of! As well as the great diversity.
