It had its ups and downs. While it isn't incredibly diverse, it has teachers that genuinely care about their students. Teachers listen and work hard to make sure that every student succeeds at MHS. They will go the extra mile. More importantly, the extracurriculars are amazing. Many teams have at the very least made it to Sectionals, if not won State! The music and art departments are also fabulous, and are known state-wide for their excellence. I loved my time at MHS.

Monticello High School is an amazing high school that offers lots of amazing opportunities. It is a very safe place and you feel very welcomed by all teachers and administrators. I feel blessed to have attended this high school. I also feel prepared for college through the many AP and college classes offered. I am currently enrolled in a college success class that focuses on how to succeed in college. MHS is one of the best high schools in the area. We try and prepare students as best as they can for life after college.
MHS offers a variety of classes including metals , FACS classes, science classes, math classes, and art/music classes.
I really enjoyed my experience at Monticello High School because all of the teachers are so eager to help. Being a senior, I can truthfully say that this high school has made me feel prepared for college. The whole student body at Monticello High School is very closely knit. That is the trait of Monticello High School that I love the most, it is such a great place to make a different types of friends and get involved in tons of clubs and activities.
