We have had two children graduate from Montgomery School and have one child in his “senior year” (8th Grade). We left our public school because we weren’t satisfied with the educational and other opportunities that our children were getting there. Since we became part of the Montgomery family, we have not looked back. At Montgomery School, my children established close, lifelong friendships. Montgomery gave my kids the foundational skills to have the courage and confidence to seek leadership positions in high school and to serve with compassion, dedication and thoughtfulness. At a recent Cross Country meet, I overheard the coach of the other team reprimanded her students (and parents) that they should comport themselves like the Montgomery kids!

Our daughter has attended Montgomery School since Pre-K and is currently in 8th grade. We have seen remarkable growth in her over the years and Montgomery has supported and challenged her appropriately throughout her lower and middle school years.

We chose Montgomery for its small class sizes and strong academic program but we were really drawn to Montgomery for its focus on character development. Montgomery students are taught from day one to be kind and polite to others and to advocate for themselves. These skills are not only emphasized in the classroom but during chapel, family style lunches and on the playing fields.

If you're looking for a school that will provide top notch academics while also focusing on your child's social and emotional development then Montgomery is somewhere that you should strongly consider. We are thrilled with the decision that we made 11 years ago and are confident that she is well prepared to successfully take the next step in her academic journey.
Montgomery nurtured our three children who are different in many ways, but what they have in common is that they are confident, independent and strong-willed individuals. They possess an educational foundation that is enabling them to succeed at the next level. They are thoughtful and compassionate, inquisitive and self-motivated. My wife and I take comfort knowing that as they continue to grow and move through higher education, the foundation poured at Montgomery will continue to be a positive influence.
