I have been at Montgomery for four years. I can say that my time here has been overall good. My teachers have been supporting but when it come to facilities, it is absolute trash! I have ceiling tiles fall on my head and most of the classrooms do not have a working AC or heaters which is ridiculous conditions to come to school with. On top of that, the technology at this school is way behind current technology. We have run down computers and a few Chromebook carts so I think that could be improved

I loved my experience at Montgomery with the atmosphere and students and teachers. I joined lots of different clubs and got to know a lot of different people. I participated in the International Baccalaureate program and found the teachers extremely passionate about helping their students succeed, however, it was a lot of stress and work that took out of the time I had to hang out with friends and participate in normal high school experiences. If you are willing to make that sacrifice then there are multiple resources to help you achieve your goals!
Unfortunately, this school is neglected by the school district. It has been passed over for renovations in favor of other schools in the district. The facilities are not in the best condition and the district refuses to address them properly, opting for quick fixes that fail to fix anything. This school also doesn't have the best reputation within the community. All that being said, I've found a place within the school and its poor reputation is simply a result of racial profiling and baseless assumptions. Whether you're involved with sports, the arts, or clubs, Montgomery High School offers a unique cross-cultural experience. The faculty, for the most part, is wonderful and they really do care about the students and their progress and success. While I've experienced a few bumps in the road, I've mostly enjoyed my time at the school.
