My daughter attended Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School from 9th grade and graduated May 2018. All years in her attendance, Montgomery Catholic has been outstanding. From the faculty and staff to college prep classes to sports. The school is designed to prepare the students for the future and get them ready for a professional career. This school’s program provides tutoring for all classes daily for any student that is in need. As college is very important to most individuals, Catholic gives each student exactly what he or she needs as they venture out into the world and become more responsible adults. They provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for all. I would absolutely recommend Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School to anyone interested in providing their student with top of the line education!!

Overall MCPS is a positive experience.
Being a Catholic private school means facilities and resources are not as advanced as other private schools. Expansion of the school is limited to land space.
Your experience in each class depends on your relationship with the teacher, the teacher's style of teaching, and your willingness to learn. Still, there are some teachers who do a great job of engaging students. Teachers in general are good, but some often move on to schools with either higher funding or more immersed students.
Our athletics are getting better each year but are on average mediocre. Some teams perform very well in their areas while others do very poorly.
The lunch food is ordered from local restaurants. This means it's food we'd actually voluntarily eat outside of school.
Our clubs and teams tend to be smaller because of the school's small population. This, coupled with lack of facilities and resources, results in a low number of clubs aimed towards a variety of students.
I have been going to Catholic for 9 years now and honestly I have never been apart of something so special before. Being a new student at a new school can be very nerve racking and scary, trust me I have been there before. But when you enter Catholic for the first time you are greeted at the door with beautiful smiles and hugs! It feels more like a family than a school! The diversity at Catholic is fantastic so you will have no problem with making friends. I love this place and I am going to miss it when I graduate!
