My children have attended MCHD since their preschool years. Our oldest is going into 9th grade next year. MCHD is a very down-to-earth learning environment, but it really sticks to the Montessori philosophy. I love that my kids come home and share what they learned, excited about the things they're doing in school. They are not bored and they are absolutely respected by their teachers. I feel lucky to have found this community for my children!

MCHD is fantastic! The staff is incredible and highly devoted to the young people they work with. They have three campuses in Denver, which makes it very convenient depending on what neighborhood you live in. The Montessori method is very unique and it can be overwhelming to new families, but the staff is willing to guide you through the process, as opposed to other schools who may be a tad hands-off. Great work to the team.
We began our adventure with Montessori children's house of Denver when my oldest son was just 15 months old. From day 1, we could tell how loved, appreciated, respected, and magical our little man felt in his Toddler classroom. Over the years, we have seen his love for learning evolve through the incredible environment at MCHD, marveling as hes gone from a precocious toddler to a nonstop reading, creating, challenging, and exploring 3rd grade machine. Nearly 7 years later, we are delighted to have all 3 of our children at the Stapleton campus (ages 8,5, and 2), and have every intention of keeping them all there through Middle school. We couldn't imagine any other environment or community we would want for our children to thrive in.
