Montessori Academy Reviews

I attended Montessori from PK-8. The education is AMAZING, and it does prepare you for highschool. This positive does not outweigh the flaws. First of, there was only 18 students in 8th grade and it was a nightmare. It obviously not possible to make new friends in school. It starts feeling very old and boring, especially since I was with these students since I was a baby. The teachers started to become way to comfortable in their positions. I’ve noticed that many of them would try to get involved in things they shouldn’t and act like family, when at the end of the day, they were not. Another thing is the lack of independence.

I attended the school in Whitter between kindergarten and fourth grade. Academics were fun and engaging, but if a child fell behind, they would basically be left to struggle on their own, with no real support or help from the teachers.
