I love the environment and community shown at this school. Monterey trail high school holds many events that allow students to get to know each other, unite as a school, and share their own stories. I feel very comfortable and accepted being myself at this school. The teachers and staff are great and helpful! This school is definitely a great school for college readiness.

This will be my fourth year attending Monterey Trail High School and although it may not be like the schools in those teen movies, I still am proud to be a Mustang. I loved the diversity of students because there are people who are Hmong, Filipino, African American, French, and Deaf but even though there are so many differences, we still all get along well with respect because that was what our school taught us. Additionally to the diversity of students, we also have a variety of school opportunities such as: the Design And Technology Academy, American Sign Language Club, Hmong Club, Don't Trash The Trail, Key Club, and Bhangra Club! I would definetely recommend this school to anyone and everyone.
This school has so many good things, the sport teams are so intense, there’s so much diversity on the trail, and there’s school spirit! There’s so many options to choose from at lunch time, there’s a nacho bar, pizza lines, burger lines, and standard cafeteria food. The people there can be an issue at times but you just have to find the right people.
