This will be my fourth year attending Monterey Trail High School and although it may not be like the schools in those teen movies, I still am proud to be a Mustang. I loved the diversity of students because there are people who are Hmong, Filipino, African American, French, and Deaf but even though there are so many differences, we still all get along well with respect because that was what our school taught us. Additionally to the diversity of students, we also have a variety of school opportunities such as: the Design And Technology Academy, American Sign Language Club, Hmong Club, Don't Trash The Trail, Key Club, and Bhangra Club! I would definetely recommend this school to anyone and everyone.

This school has so many good things, the sport teams are so intense, there’s so much diversity on the trail, and there’s school spirit! There’s so many options to choose from at lunch time, there’s a nacho bar, pizza lines, burger lines, and standard cafeteria food. The people there can be an issue at times but you just have to find the right people.
It was okay. I had some internal issues going on throughout my experience. But, what I can say is that I am forever thankful for the few life-long friends I have made at Monterey Trail. The new principal Mr. Swanson is INCREDIBLE. If you ever get the chance, you should meet him. I did have an issue on the track team with the head coach, so tread if you will. But, overall it was pretty cool. The staff is extremely genuine, there's a few bad apples but it does not taint the school as a whole. School spirit is highly encouraged by the staff and those in leadership and ASB, however it is up to the student to show it! Finally, there's only one Trail.
