My experience at Monterey was one I will never forget. I enjoyed meeting new people and becoming friends with different types of people. One experience I will always remember is playing soccer for Monterey. Even though I only scored 2 goals within 14 games I enjoyed those two special moments. Also, the moments I spent with my team and going out of town and having a fantastic time that will never be forgotten! High school is almost over for me and I can’t wait to experience my final moments of High school. I’m excited for prom and having a great time with my friends even though we all don’t have dates we are all going with each other to have a great time. Most importantly I’m nervous but excited to walk the state and even better I’m in the front row and get to watch all my friends walk across the state too and just cherish the last moment.

Monterey High School has many programs to help advance in endorsements. The endorsements they provide helps students gain skills that we can apply in real life. One main thing Monterey should improve on is diversity. Monterey has many backgrounds that come together but they seem to segregate amongst themselves based on it. All the back grounds coming together make this school unique, but it tends to judge people base on background and not by character. The school should enforce more cultural activity and programs it has. All backgrounds being involved within each others lifestyle, can establish unity within ourselves. We are the generation were we need each other the most, establishing unity is what we need to stop the revolutionized segregation.
I loved my experience and Monterey. I was very involved in many extra curricular activities offered, which opened the door to meeting many people from many different walks of life. I believe the students and staff at Monterey genuinely cared for me and I did for them. Being involved in so many activities allowed me to create a family away from home with those who I attended school with. I take great pride in being a plainsmen and wouldn't have changed it, it was great and I completed high school with no regrets!
