Small school with teachers that cared about the students, but there was not enough opportunities. It was an average school, which had poor administration, so the students did not have a lot of choices in electives. Additionally, funding was reserved for athletics or STEM projects but with few choices.

Monte Alto is a great campus. It offers students the opportunity to take dull enrollment courses and graduate with an associates. It also, offers laptops to every student in our high school.
In my first year in Monte Alto High, it's been what any high school might undergo with a Freshmen : signing up for classes, finding your way around and mainly, looking for new friends. Although this year has been a little difficult getting used to, overall, it's only one time where you start the rest of your life. Most of the staff is supportive and helpful. I understand the process of many of my classes. All in all, Monte Alto has been a unique experience.
