From Monsignor Farrell High School

Monsignor Farrell High School strives to provide quality education to young men. Our mission is to graduate mature, faithful men who will be sensitive and productive members of society. It is the mission of the school to provide quality education for young men, challenging them to develop their own God-given talents.

The school offers an approach to life that is simultaneously Catholic, American, and contemporary. It stresses the importance of service to others and teaches the students to be seekers of peace and justice. Our school motto is "Vir Fidelis", or "The Faithful Man", which challenges all of our graduates and students to serve God and others.

NYC's Only School Water Testing Research Lab

Our Marine Biology Society has begun conducting water quality studies throughout Staten Island, using EPA approved Enterolert system from IDEXX Laboratories. We are the only High School in New York City to have a running research laboratory facility using this sophisticated equipment. We are a partner lab for the New York City Water Trail Association’s Citizens’ Water Quality Testing program.
