Wonderful school, everyone really cares. They try really hard to build a relationship between students, teachers and parents. Fabulous teachers, too.
Ams is a good school. They focus on social studies the most, as they have the best teachers for it. If I could change anything it would be bus service. Some drivers are VERY rude and some would be very nice. Another thing I would change would be having teachers that don't explain.
My child went from a small private school into MTMS and the experience has had its ups and downs. First, there are some amazing teachers that we have had the pleasure of meeting. They have really helped to make a big difference in my child’s transition to such a large school. A big thank you to them all!
As we are all aware, teachers’ attitudes have the ability to help or hurt student achievement and well-being. Some subpar teachers, team leaders and educational administrators at this school need to be retrained on how to effectively deal with all types of teens and preteens. Their assumptions or judging of the students, bad attitudes, negative interactions and unwillingness to engage and understand their students is appalling! I would not recommend this school. We will be returning to private school next year.
