I thoroughly enjoyed going to monarch. Maybe it was the classes I took or the people I chose to be around, but I felt genuinely safe and cared for. My peers were kind, my classes were interesting (especially sociology!), the clubs were very fun, and all of our celebrations were enjoyable and inclusive! You didn't even need to be in one of the clubs celebrating if you wanted to grab a cookie from a mini party they were having. The teachers were compassionate, understanding, and REALLY wanted us to learn. They made lessons fun with various activities/games/videos so we weren't bored out of our minds while still retaining information. The only thing I'd change? Adding a little salt to the food! All jokes aside, this school was pretty great.

My high school experience at Monarch High School was truly amazing. The determination and kindness from my teachers and the staff helped me to finally graduate with an exemplary record. The interesting clubs such as Latinos in Action, French Honors Society and more draws you closer as a community and a fellow high school student. Also, it offers a variety of advanced placement courses, dual enrollment courses and college preparedness courses. Thanks to one of my great instructors, Ms. Butka, I received a certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist.
Loved the diversity! Monarch helped shape my persona into what it is today! Whether it was the new friends I made every class, or getting close and personal to my teachers and administration. Monarch has always been nearly perfect for me. The school spirit blows the roof and nothing beats the chicken nuggets during school lunch. Academics is always a number one priority for monarch. The school is insanely clean too! Faculty really does a great job keeping this school looking nice and clean at a consistent rate. Overall, an amazing school with little to no flaws would recommend for anyone!
