I loved my time at Mojave. However, by no means is this school perfect. The locker rooms are smelly, the food is kind of gross, and not all the teachers have the best attitude. However, the majority of the teachers here are great at what they do. The medical program is amazing. I have taken both sports medicine and medical assisting classes and I loved it. I am actually going to major in computer science, but taking those classes made it a very hard decision! Another amazing teacher here is the AP statistics teacher. Math went from my worst subject to my favorite subject! His cool personality and teaching methods made him the best math teacher I have ever had. Another thing I love about this school is our sports programs. I knew nothing about volleyball when I tried out in my freshman year but our team ended up becoming state champions! I love Mojave and I am going to miss it so much that I almost don't want to graduate!

I enjoyed the entire high school experience. I looked forward going to school everyday. Most of the teachers and staff were very helpful to me. My counselor helped me get on track towards graduation. I never felt that I was not safe. Nearly all of the students were nice to others and it was rare to see some sort of bullying. One thing that may have to change is the infrastructure. During my final year at this school, there was an issue with the sewage system. It would let out a horrible smell for months and it never was fixed. Additionally, many other parts of the school seemed dirty and needed some renovation. Nonetheless, this school gave me an overall great experience. It was not perfect but the school did the best it could with less resources compared to other schools in the city. The only necessary improvements are cleanliness and improved technology for the students. This includes projecters, computers, and internet. I believe the school needs more funds to flourish.
Mojave High School doesn’t live up to other people’s expectations, we are different, we are successful, and many students are blessed with the opportunity to learn with teachers and staff who want to see us succeed. We have our low points just like any other schools, but as a school we figure it out and make the campus better. Mojave has been my home for 4 years, I’ve gotten the best education I could ask for, with teachers who always made sure I would make it to graduation, and I have.
