Model Lab is an excellent school. It has taught me a lot about college readiness and how to handle all my classes. Some teachers aren’t as great and helpful as others, but overall they have helped me a great amount.

The environment at Model Laboratory School is unique from any other school. It's small size allows a very close, family-like atmosphere. The connection to Eastern Kentucky University allows many opportunities for students through the college itself, and the school is consequently very academically challenging. The only downfall to Model is the facilities themselves - the building is very old, and access to things like parking and sporting facilities are limited. Overall though, I have had an enriching experience at Model Laboratory High School and I will cherish the time I spent there.
Model has been a school that has given me many opportunities to advance my education. The challenging courses, opportunities to work with Eastern Kentucky University, and my knowledgeable educators have allowed me to push myself and strive to be better. The environment at Model provides smaller class sizes, advanced curriculum, and closer relationships with peers and teachers. This is beneficial in meeting all students needs and building a positive and supportive atmosphere. Model has helped me venture out of my comfort zone, experience new and educational things, and given me the skills I need to succeed in life.
