MIT Academy High School

Mare Island Technology Academy High School is an independent charter school (VCUSD authorized) serving the Vallejo community since 2001. Our mission is to challenge our diverse student body to master a rigorous curriculum in a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment. Graduates are self-motivated, technologically skilled, responsible global citizens equipped to succeed in post-secondary training/education.

MIT Academy serves the unique needs of students and ensures that they have positive, supportive, and caring interactions with adults and peers. We hold high expectations and provide support for demonstrated achievement. MIT ensures students participate in meaningful ways both at school and in the community, building leadership skills. With parent, staff, and community involvement, MIT provides accountability in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.
