Overall my experience at Mission High School has been very good. The staff are very supportive and the academics are challenging but you're still able to understand them. My only complaint would be the other students but I'm sure that's what every student says about their school. I believe that if you want your child to attend an academic challenging, openly diverse accepting school, you should consider Mission High. Plus all the students get free lunch!

Spent all of high school here at Mission, and it was unforgettable. People here are amazing, teachers/staff are supportive, and the environment is pleasant. Best public school in San Francisco!
I went to this high school. This school is very diverse and I can tell you that the school principal is very positive and supportive of any kinds of events and assembly. For example, We will have LGBTQ assembly with a lot of the teacher dress up not their gender's clothing...etc. We also have those very nice securities to make school more like a family. Because our school is very diverse, and the environment we are surrounding, students are very likely to speak and join clubs and sport team. Our school has a cal state championship on boys basketball.
