I transferred from San Luis Obispo High School to MCP. It is a small high school with friendly and peaceful environment. The students are very nice and respectful, and the teachers are responsible and helpful. There are always fun activities&clubs, and great volunteer opportunities; the schedule system and the fairly challenging classes prepared me well for university. Food is healthy and clean, classrooms and bathrooms are always clean, I loved my experience in the sports team there... everything was great.

Some things I enjoyed about Mission College Prep was the college prep aspect of the school. Going into college I now feel much more prepared due to the structure of classes and work load. At Mission Prep PE is optional which was a nice change and allowed people to have things such as public speaking, art or human geography in their schedule. The school itself is nice and the facilities are high quality. Although, some things I would liked changed are the education quality of some of the classes. Some classes were taught well and were excellent classes while others were taught very poorly and provided busy work. Overall it was a average-good experience.
MCP prepared me for University of San Diego. The school was well kept, the teachers formed meaningful relationships, school activities were plentiful. Small schools aren’t for everybody, but Mission helped me develop spiritually and emotionally before leaving for college. The college counseling, close relationships, ease of getting involved, safety and facilities made the tuition worth it.
