From Miss Hall's School

Founded in 1898, Miss Hall's School was one of the first all-girls boarding schools established in New England. We combine a college-preparatory curriculum with two leadership programs: Horizons and the Girls' Leadership Project. Both programs are central to our belief that, in addition to outstanding academic preparation, girls need to communicate effectively and authentically, voice opinions with resolve and respect, and be comfortable having influence, leading change, and contributing boldly and creatively to the common good.

MHS truly gives me a fantastic experience of high school. Inclusivity and diversity is fully shown in this school and MHS makes you feel that you are welcomed and supported. MHS offers all levels of classes and prepare every student for their personal interest as well as college applications. While having a strong academic, MHS have a strong art department. I really like MHS's art department. It gives me opportunities to explore my interests and my talent in art. As an international student, I never felt excluded by the community. Our holidays are honored and we have ISA to help the bonding between international students and domestic students.

This is my third year at Miss Hall's, and I can truly say that my experience here has been one that I will never forget. I have formed amazing relationships with my teachers, met some of my closest friends, and have grown a lot as a student, a friend, and a community member. At Miss Hall's, teacher's truly care deeply about each individual student, and are happy to support in all ways possible. The academics are challenging, and students are encouraged to challenge themselves, take risks in the classroom, and seek help outside of class whenever needed. I can confidently say that this school has changed my life, academically and socially, and has made me a better person overall.
As a junior here at MHS, I can say my experience has been pretty good. Obviously, this is not a paradise, I learnt that I can never expect everyone to be kind, sensitive, caring and gentle all the time. There were time I got frustrated, disappointed and sad. For me as an international students, it will also be homesick and loneliness. But there are moments, sparks that make me realize this place's dynamic is special. People might make mistake sometimes, but it doesn't mean they're not willing to learn and redress what they did. There might be people who don't know who you are, but it doesn't mean they're not going to support you or talk to you when you need. You will meet people that make you want to be the best version of you or even someone you might want to spend the rest of your life with. I know it is arrogant to talk on behalf of you, but those are the experience I had at Miss Hall's.
