Going into high school I was completely worried about how my experience would be at Miramar High but on my first day I was taken aback by how I was welcomed with open arms into a thriving, diverse community within this cozy school. I have fallen in love with everything about my school from the administration to the variety of programs that allow me to be involved within it. I couldn't have been blessed with a better school to attend, "At Miramar High, You Can't Hide Your Patriot Pride", and that's a promise!

What I loved the most about Miramar High School would have to be it's college readiness atmosphere. Being a patriot is all about going for what you believe in, doing your best in whatever you do, being true to yourself and striving for greatness! My overall experience so far has been excellent. I've joined numerous clubs and organizations, became well acquainted with the loving staff and remain being in the top 10% of my class rankings. Since becoming a Miramar Patriot I've also learn new things about myself and grew as an individual. However, if there's things I would change it would have to be renovating the numerous bathrooms and rebuilding the girls softball team dugout.
My experience at Miramar at best can be described as a roller coaster. I began in August 2017,fairly low in the tenth grade. Despite my academic performance, I was placed into classes with individuals who preform at a sub-par, average level. Both my grade level and status elevated exponentially in the eleventh grade as I began taking AP classes. These studens as expected performed at an above-average level. I am now at my zenith in the twelfth grade taking Dual Enrollment classes. These students perform at levels that many have thought to be impossible. Up until now, I have enjoyed this school, this is especially thanks to the teachers and support staff. My teachers have a variety of methods ready to prepare students for the worst or most difficult tasks. We also have the support staff such as counselors who are there for us every step of the way. Despite it having a rough reputation externally, internally it is beyond anyone's expectations.
