What I loved the most about Miramar High School would have to be it's college readiness atmosphere. Being a patriot is all about going for what you believe in, doing your best in whatever you do, being true to yourself and striving for greatness! My overall experience so far has been excellent. I've joined numerous clubs and organizations, became well acquainted with the loving staff and remain being in the top 10% of my class rankings. Since becoming a Miramar Patriot I've also learn new things about myself and grew as an individual. However, if there's things I would change it would have to be renovating the numerous bathrooms and rebuilding the girls softball team dugout.

As an alumni of Miramar High School I have to be completely sincere and honest. Miramar High school is a model school of rectitude when it comes to the staff, the culture, the students. Academics at MHS are fairly well and the IB program is phenomenal. The educators of MHS are very concerning of their students they strive to make sure that the material is well comprehended as well as the well-being of students. The extracurricular activities at MHS could use some variety in the sports and performing arts field. The Vicinity is calm not much goes on, as far as the facility it could use extra hands to clean (restrooms) in particular. The safety at Miramar High School is great the security is always vigilant and aware. The food all in all can be better. Miramar High School is a school that pushes students to do their best and BE their best! Based on my experience at MHS I encourage you to attend.
I have gone to Miramar High School for two years, and although I have met many great people and generally had a lot of fun, there are many areas in which things have room to improve. The academics (if you are in a program, like IB or AP) are good and the teachers are mostly well-equipped. There is a large number of clubs and activities, and there seems to be something for everyone on campus. The ethnic diversity is not very high, seeing as the school is predominantly black - but personality, interest, and drive-wise, Miramar is a melting pot. Personally, I feel ready for college - even as a sophomore, because I take advantage of the opportunities offered to me (and there are quite a few of them). The food is not very good or nutritious, and the faculties never really seem to be quite clean. Overall, 6/10.
