Minuteman Regional High School Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 121 reviews
Minuteman is a great school for students to find themselves and get a jump start on their careers. Academics are definitely on the easier side, however some, but less than most, are very extreme and unforgiving. Guidance department is strong and effective, however, the social services department is a complete joke. Counselors will likely not even remember the students name half the time. If your student needs 1/1 direct services or needs a special education room after middle school, this is simply not the school for them. Bullying is non existent and incidents are handheld well. Overall, the culture of Minuteman is strong even with students from all over Eastern Mass.
Personally, I have had an overall good experience at Minuteman High School. I am on the Softball team which has helped me stay active and also make a lot of new friends. Although Minuteman has granted me many great opportunities, there has been some bad parts to my high school experience. During my time here I've never really felt connected with the school spirit and it seems to me that its not just me that feels that way.
Minuteman is a good technical vocational school. If you know what field you want to train in, you will get experience and have an upper hand going into said field. However, Minuteman lacks on the academic side. Classes aren’t very challenging, there isn’t a lot of variety, and there aren’t many AP or DE options.
