This high school teaches very well. The teachers are all wonderful to have any conversation with. All staff members strive to get students to their best potential, and make sure each student meets the graduation criteria. School sports also play a big role in the community, and almost every student is a part of at least one sport/club. Although the school is very good on academics and sports, they can be quite strict on things they shouldn’t care about. Dress code involves no tank tops or cut off shirts. As far as phones go they aren’t even allowed to be carried in pockets or the chrome book case as it will be taken until 4 PM when you can come back after school and retrieve it. Although this particular school rarely gets any sort of threats, it’s still a comfort to have a way of contact in case of emergency. Overall, the school is a good learning community. The people are outgoing and always try including others.
I'm a current freshman attending Minster Junior/Senior High School. I love the school so much the programs are amazing the teachers are helpful and you get a great education for a great price. But there are some things I would love to see change like more programs for different people. Maybe music production or more business management classes. Also I want them to renew there home-ct program because I think people need to be able to learn cooking, cleaning and other reliable resources for the outside world. Some people aren't available to these daily privileges many have, so I think the program should be still running.
Minster High school is a great school to get a good education while having fun, most poeple say your Junior year is the worst, but with my teachers and classes, I have found this to be my best year yet. Minster isn't easy though, it definitely challenges you more than most schools, but I appreciate it because it prepares me for the real world and college.
