It all depends on the individual's lack or abundance of self-motivation. If you are highly motivated, you can excel and become farther ahead in school, preparing yourself for the "real world." If you have a lack of motivation, you may be held behind and not learn all that you need to know, thus pushing you farther away from becoming adaptable to the "real world."
The school is engaging and you can explore almost anything that you so desire. The school is really acceptable to student that have a tough schedule or don't normally conform to societal standards.
