Mineral Point High School is located in one of the world’s biggest small towns. Many families in Mineral Point have as big of a reputation the town itself. This could make the school bitter and unaccepting or warm and friendly, and the later is certainly true of Mineral Point High School. Unlike many of my classmates, I don’t have a special connection to Mineral Point, I’m the first in my family to graduate from this school, but I can say firsthand that this community and school have brought me up like one of their own.

I would like to also say that the school is in a small town, so when it came to my final years in high school, I was only able to take a couple of common AP courses like Calculus, English, and Government. There aren’t any designated expert teachers in more diverse fields like Computer Science, Robotics, or any Foreign Language other than Spanish.
My experience at Mineral Point High School has been amazing. The teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects, and they are always willing to help at any time. Sports have always been a huge part of my life and all coaches work hard to have their teams be successful. The students and staff at Mineral Point have always been welcoming to everyone.
