I like minarets because of multiple reasons. The culture and people here are all welcoming, everyone is very kind and close to the community. Everyone, including the teachers, are supportive and inspiring. I also like the amount of things you can get involved in at our school, it has FFA, NHS, CSF, Key Club, all sports including equestrian, as well as many others. There are two leadership classes that allow students to learn to be leaders. Students have the opportunity to start there own clubs and learn real-life skills. However, I would like to increase there communication within teachers, students, and parents. When everyone is informed then a school can run smoother.

I have had an overall great experience with Minarets Charter High School. For starters, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The teachers and staff show that they care and pay attention to their students by interacting with them, checking in on them, working with them one-on-one, and getting to know them during their time at the school. The students work together very well, despite any differences they may have. The students also help make for a better culture by caring for the campus and proceeding with much school spirit.
Minarets High School is a very unique place, unlike any of other school. As a technology based high school, the students learn how to utilize the internet and learn necessary skills for the future. My experience was overall pretty good. Because It is a small school, it has a very welcoming and personal feel. It is almost certain that every student will have a one on one connection with the teachers, and they really care about the student's well being. However, there were some issues for me with consistency within the school, and we were often left to do things without explanation. We were not given much help with college applications, leaving many students confused on the process. I think the school needs to work on acceptance of the LGBT community, and stop censoring their prideful comments in fear of other students feeling uncomfortable about it. School is a place where no student should feel the need to hide their identity.
