Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation's Capital Reviews
Rating 4.88 out of 5 8 reviews
Milton has been a wonderful school experience for my thriving first grader. Her teachers are engaged and enthusiastic, helping with her weaknesses one on one and encouraging her strengths! Above all else, her teachers have given my first grader a LOVE OF LEARNING. The teacher's weekly emails are informative, communicative, and include pictures of my daughter's time in the classroom. Her teachers have also reached out from time to time to give me personalized updates. There is ample playground space, time for arts and music, and even an elective for their social-emotional growth (the guidance counselor teaches a class - it's fantastic!). The community is wonderful. Parents are friendly, classroom playdates are planned, and there are opportunities to see the classroom over zoom. Without ever stepping inside my child's classroom, I feel as though I know every inch. I can't say enough good things about Milton. I'm so lucky that my child is growing up in such a warm, inviting school.
Milton has been a perfect fit for our family. The thought that goes into our children’s social, emotional and academic learning is really inspirational. Our kids have benefited from the small class size, dedicated and creative teachers and warm and loving environment. The investment the teachers place in recognizing and meeting each child where they are at is so impressive and the value the school administration places on investing in the continuing education of the staff is commendable. Five stars for our family!
Best school EVER. Can't say enough amazing things about the stellar, cutting-edge academics, including a strong emphasis on writing & research, critical thinking and STEM and innovation, as well as the warmest, most nurturing community. And the teachers and administration go above and beyond for students. I feel so fortunate to have found Milton for my kids. It is everything I was looking for - an exceptional education within a Torah-values environment. Happy mom (and happy kids).
