Millsap ISD is in a growing area outside of the DFW metroplex. The area in general in poor in financial wealth, but has always maintained an outstanding family of teachers. Unfortunately, in the past 10 years the quality of the school has greatly deminished. They have maintained remarkable teachers and have incorporated many opportunities for dual credit courses. But on the contrary, the board and administration are focused on the appearance of the school instead of the actual learning of the students. Therefore leading to students who graduate with good grades, but are unable to thrive in college due to not being properly prepared. Overall, I am sure that other schools face the same problems, but being a student in a place not focused on the students long term future is very frustrating for us who plan on continue through college and making a great career for ourselves.

A small and personal environment. Personal connections to help the students succeed. The community across all the three schools are very well connected and extremely friendly. The staff do whatever it takes to help each and every student succeed, no matter where they come from, or what their home life is. They help every student, every day, doing whatever it takes.
Millsap High School is just like any other one, the student life is packed and very busy. What is nice about the school is that everyone is able to participate in an event without being told they cannot do another. Something that does need to be improved on is the vaping. While there are alarms in both bathrooms, people still vape and it is not good for them or the school.
