What did you like / what would you like to see change>

I had an overall positive experience at MHS. The school was known for being relatively prestigious and being located in the middle of an office building. Having graduated from MHS for a few years now, I can reflect on what I liked and what I would have liked to see more of. I would have liked to see more cohesion amongst the students. Oftentimes, people gathered and hung around their "cliques," rarely having genuine interactions with others. This could have been accomplished with more student clubs. Although a few clubs existed, more clubs would have increased student cohesion, amongst many other things. However, I will give MHS props for having great teachers, many of whom were involved in students' academic and social lives!

This school is very safe. The administration and the school safety agents really take their jobs seriously when it comes to making sure students are safe and know the correct procedures to follow come time of an emergency (which thankfully rarely happens). In terms of health, the school nurse is always so nice and is willing to help you feel better to the best of her abilities! The nurse's office, like many other offices in the school, has an open door policy so you can walk in at any time if you're feeling ill. She'll often check in on you afterwards to see if you're still feeling okay.
Millennium has strong academics, but they're not rewarding for the students. The work is excessive and the students that are dedicated to their grades have to abandon everything that we enjoy doing out of school. Millennium to me is a huge disappointment because of how they offer a low number of AP courses and have no National Honors Society. However, the school has a calm and safe atmosphere, well... without all of the bullyings that happens here. What's confusing is that the classes that have the most bullying take pride in it and say their class is "lit." The classrooms are clean and look new, but a lot of the smart-boards don't work. The sports are good and my friends mention how they would have gone to Millennium for the sports teams. The clubs are nice in Millennium, but they should consider forming an environmental club.
