My experience at Millennium has been amazing so far! There have been some rough days but I have astonishing friends and teachers have been here to support me. Everyone I have met has been so accepting and there is barely any fights on campus. The teachers make sure that you understand the content before moving on. I have only had one or two bad experience with one teacher and they were just sitting at their desk and had almost failed me halfway into the year without explaining why my work wasn't matching her rubric. Luckily It was handled but the other work we did, we never referenced ever again from the rest of the year.

I thoroughly enjoy being a part of this high school. I have appreciated the extreme dedication that the staff of the school has provided for the students. Our sports programs are exceptionally talented. Our boy's basketball and girls volleyball and basketball lead our school to Division 5A championships. Furthermore, our school offers numerous types of clubs including but not limited to drama, theater, band, art, DECA, HOSA, and FFA. Also, the food that the cafeteria workers provide is phenomenal. I am thrilled when lunchtime comes around because of the many types of delicious food that they serve. I have gained much necessary education to prepare myself further for college while also maintaining good grades due to my peers' and administrators' continuous help for me to an outstanding student academically. I will forever be proud to call myself a Millennium Tiger.
MHS has a bounty of opportunities for all students, whether they are sports-oriented, interested in music or the arts, or want to be involved in career specific after-school clubs. The school is very big and sometimes you can feel lost, but becoming involved is the best way to feel like you're a part of it. Some of the classes are over-subscribed, but for those interested in challenging themselves - the AP and IB classes provide smaller classrooms and better learning experience. There are lots of food options and plenty of snack vending machines if you need a quick bite to eat. The counselors are overwhelmed but really try hard to help students who are truly interested in their future. For those not college bound, a student can choose a vocational path offered through an accompanying program at West-Mec (mechanics, cosmetology, fire science/law enforcement, welding, etc.)
