I genuinely love being a student at MBHS. I cannot imagine being anywhere else because I believe that I've found my niche here. I've met so many wonderful people that I get to call friends and the support system here for students is wonderful. The teachers are caring and easy to talk to. At Millennium Brooklyn, I've gotten the chance to do research, intern, take AP classes, and do large presentations. The school is smaller than many high schools in NYC and we have really strong academics that challenge students to do their best. The only bad thing I can think of is that we are kind of cramped in the hall ways but I really do love MBHS. Go Phoenix!

Millennium Brooklyn, in Park Slope, is a very good high school. The school itself is very organized and does its best to help students who are planning on going to college. College readiness starts off early in freshman year and students immediately get help from their advisors and many of the faculty members. Millennium Brooklyn is very diverse and also accommodates students with disabilities. AP courses are offered to students who want to get college credit early. The neighborhood itself is very safe and is easy to navigate with the busses and trains nearby. One of the major downsides of this high school is that it is very small in size. Space for classes is limited to one floor and small parts of other floors. Metal detecting, unfortunately, is required and this can be a hassle for students that arrive later than 7:45am.
I would not have been able to get into college without Millennium Brooklyn. The past four years there helped me to grow and enrich my thinking to the point where I know more and can do more than ever thought possible. The teachers are greatly dedicated to the success of every student, and are constant preparing us for the real world. Incorporation of hands-on and class activities where we move around, help us stay engaged in the classroom and actually learn something from the lesson. The students show great respect, no bullying, no fighting, I actually feel safe in the school. Overall, Millennium Brooklyn High School is definitely the best!
