I'm a senior, and I can already tell that I'm gonna miss this place. The teachers all ROCK, and the principal! He's THE BEST. There are also college counsellors that will help a LOT. EVERY teacher here wants you to succeed.
I'm a trans guy who came out the summer before freshman year-- and what did the school do? They had my name changed in the system, as well as my pronouns. They let me use the boys' bathroom and overall were very kind. Not a single teacher here has harassed me or purposefully misgendered me. So, LGBTQ kids, you're safe here, I promise.
The only negative I can say is probably the homework load- there's a lot. So, please don't try and take 2 AP classes unless you can handle it. However, teachers will sit with you during lunch + office hours and help you! Finally, projects are all really creative and fun, and I haven't read a SINGLE BOOK that I DIDN'T LIKE. Oh, and the research classes, those are the best. I'd give this place ten stars if I could. Gonna miss it :(

It offers a wide range of academics and extra curricular activities, which helps with students engagement. The staff seems dedicated to the students, and trying to help them be their best. Millennium Brooklyn provides a high school experience that is different than other schools, as it more diverse than the average school in Brooklyn. Students are able to mingle with various cultural backgrounds, and explore these backgrounds through respective clubs that encourage diversity and student engagement. The location provides many opportunities for students to spend their outside lunch privileges at many locations on 7th avenue. Overall Millennium Brooklyn High School provides an excellent high school experience through student engagement, academics, and community.
I love my school SO much. I was a transfer in sophomore year, and having the opportunity to attend Millennium has changed my life. The teachers are wonderful and accessible. The classes are interesting, and the people are nice. Friends will be easy to make if you join clubs. Word from the wise: GO TO OFFICE HOURS! It will help you meet other students, and will strengthen your relationship with teachers. It is also great for learning material in a less stressful environment.
