I liked Milford High School because of the overall atmosphere. I bonded very well with the teachers. Since it is a small school, all the teacher get to know you. I have even created friendships with my teachers. One of my past teachers emailed me to say happy birthday! At Milford High School, the teachers become very close to you. Another one of my teachers would walk around the classroom before starting the lesson to ask how everyone was doing. They care about each and every student. Once, I was struggling in math once so my teacher stayed after school with me for extra help every single day! In addition, the students here are very close to each other. I have never heard of any bullying incidents. We have grown up together since elementary school and would never put each other down.

I like my school's focus on career and college preparation -- you aren't forced into attending college if you don't want to, and the school gives you plenty of options for internships and other career-related experiences. The teachers are amazing and truly care about their students. My main complaint is regarding the facilities at the school. The heat/air conditioning is barely functional, and it seems as if there is always a leaking pipe somewhere. The school is just old and outdated, so it's getting more difficult to maintain. I wish that more money would be put towards making some improvements.
The academic courses offered here for the size of the school is very good. There is an entire department, the ATC (technology center) that is dedicated to classes such as woodworking, engineering, and various computer science courses that other such small-sized public schools may not have.

The school's building is very old, and needs to be updated. There was a day of classes that was cancelled while I was attending, due to a leak coming from yes, the ceiling. A pipe had burst and the water caved through multiple ceiling tiles, flooding an entire room and hallway.

The teachers are for the most part nice. I would say that I have had more positive experiences than negative. The "meanest" teacher in the school was in social studies, but I actually thought that the tough love that teacher liked to give and the hard grading was good, as long as he didn't show favoritism. He was hard, but fair, and I appreciated the way he challenged his students because he seemed to care about them.
