Midland High School Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 24 reviews
In my time at midland I have seen some good things and some bad things. One good thing about Midland High school is that there is a small enough student to teacher ratio that the teachers are exceedingly willing to work with the students that apply themselves in order to give them the most opportunities that could be given within reason. Coinciding with that fact though, is the problem of the school being too small to grant the same opportunities as other schools. Along with that, the school has trouble keeping very qualified teachers due to their small size. Another downside to Midland high school is the fact that due to the lack of enforcement of assignment due dates and school policy in general the curriculum is far enough behind that students might as well be 2 or 3 grades below their grade level unless they do as I have and self study material not covered in class during my spare time.
I think our school is somewhat average. It has its pros and its cons. Everyone here is well-connected for the most part, and some teachers can tell when their student is having an off day. Academics could be better, but not enough people in the community care. Having sports have brought people together. I have made many friends through team bonding.
I have attended Midland School since my childhood. It is a very good school, it is not very big but it is full of good caring people. I have never had a problem at this school, with academics or otherwise. The teachers and staff are very supportive and willing to help with anything they can. Midland High school has helped prepare me for college.
