The thing I like about Midland High School the most is it is a small school. Although everyone easily knows an others business, the facility knows every child enrolled in the school. I feel that this is important is making sure every student is safe in their environment while at school. Our academics are very good here. I feel that our teachers push us to do our absolute best. Our school was recognized in D.C. for being a blue ribbon school. Since we are a public school, this is a very big deal.

I liked everything about Midland High. They always made you feel welcome. Everyone's door was always open when you needed a listening ear. The staff, teachers, and administration were really friendly.
Midland has a small student body where everyone knows everyone. The staff is very kind and willing to go over and beyond for any student. Only having one sport (basketball) allows the school to be very spirited and encouraging. Being a small school allows us students to become close to the teachers. Having this bond makes it easier to ask teachers questions and ask for help when needed.
