Middle College High School is an educational environment that helps students advance their educational journey, by allowing us to partake in college classes. The staff at MCHS strongly encourage students to do the best they can in their academics. The reason I rate Middle College High School 4/5 stars, is because due to the fact that the school is mainly focused on academics, the true high school experience is lost. As a student at MCHS, I have missed out on school dances, a variety of clubs, sports games, and the list continues. I am glad I was able to take upon the opportunity to get ahead, but wish I was able to enjoy my experience as well. Middle College High Schools holds us students to high standards, this can often be overwhelming.
Middle College High School has definitely been a wonderful experience for me! It has helped me become more aware of how college really is. This school is a dual enrollment school, therefore, students are taking both high school and college classes. The teachers really care about students and what's best for them. Administration and staff are always providing new opportunity for students. I am truly thankful for being at this school!
Middle College High School is a fairly small high school compared to all the other ones out there. With that being said, it is very simple to build relationships with both students and staff members. This makes attending school much more enjoyable. Along with that, the school focuses on the students academic achievement more than anything. Teachers will provide support if needed, and classmates are equally helpful. Another notable thing about this school is the fact that students are able to take college courses at San Bernardino Valley College, which is next to MCHS. It is my third year there (I’m a senior) and I have had an amazing experience due to these factors.
