The Middle College at UNCG is an amazing school that gives numerous amounts of opportunities to students not found in traditional schools. These opportunities range from taking college courses, job shadowing/interning, learning about college(tuition, scholarship, etc), and getting verifications such as pharmaceutical assistants. The Middle College is also a small school, holding around 200 students. Creating a deeper connection between teachers and students. It is also jam-packed with technology and classrooms that invite students with their modern and comfortable feel and look. The Middle College is an overall spectacular school that gives Opportunites unseen in a lot of schools and a school that brings teachers and students together for a better learning environment.
As a rising Senior, I would say that my experience here was great! Of course it was difficult at times because they have high expectations, but it's beneficial in the end. The teachers and staff are very supportive!
This highly competitive public high school in Guilford Country Schools, North Carolina provides its students with only Honors, AP, and college classes. College classes are paid for by Guilford County Schools, allowing students to take prerequisite college classes at no cost as long as they keep their grades up. Teachers and staff at the Middle College at UNC-G are committed to their students and even give their free time to support and tutor students to need them. Resources extend to the college campus; UNC-Greensboro's labs, library, and multiple buildings have been used by high school students to enrich their experiences and get them used to college resources. School is deeply focused on health sciences, youth development, and the medical field, which caters to students who are very interested in those fields.
