I've attended Mid-Buchanan for many years now, ever since kindergarten. Being able to have friendships and relationships that thrive throughout so many years is a great experience and is very welcoming. The atmosphere at my school is great and the emphasis on learning and sports is amazing and encouraging.
Mid Buchanan is a small school that feels like a family. I really appreciate the teachers at Mid Buchanan. The teachers actually care about our well being, and with small class sizes its easy to get extra help or tutoring at any time. Besides the staff the students at Mid Buchanan are so close. This school has so much school spirit. During football and basketball games the whole town is there to cheer on our teams and support the school. The only downside to a small school is last names will either make you popular or not. That being said Mid Buchanan is honestly the most bully free school I've seen. I'm very thankful I got to attend such a wonderful school for 12 years.
The number one thing I have enjoyed about MB is how close everyone is. Of course there are cliques and groups, but when needed everyone is able to come together and support one another. The schools saying is "Love Never Fails" and the whole community stands by that. We always chant this at any sporting event of activity because it gives everyone motivation and makes everyone feel loved and needed. Although, if I had to change one thing it would be how the college classes are distributed. They should be offered as credit for regular core classes instead of only electives.
