I have been enrolled at Michigan Lutheran High School since my Freshman year and am now a Senior. The class sizes are on the smaller end but I really enjoy that because you can really connect with your class and get to know everyone else in the school as well. The teachers are very welcoming, easy to talk to, and show genuine care for all of the students. There are also lots of Fine Arts opportunities which is amazing for having a smaller student body. I love being able to go to school in a Christ centered environment!

I have gone to Michigan Lutheran High School from freshman year to now as a junior. The teachers are super nice and having small class sizes help you feel more confident to ask questions. The environment is very inviting and I've made some of my closest friends here over the past three years. Even if you've never played a sport before, players and coaches are encouraging when you're learning to play which allows you to want to try new things. ML is a great place to learn and grow!
I am the parent of an out of state boarding student. The experience has been very good for our son. Coronavirus has him almost daily verbalizing that he wishes he could be back at school. It is a distinctly Christian school which provides a great experience on many counts. It is a small school, so the option crazed might not be impressed on that account (which is someone reflected in my ratings). But with MLHS being a smaller school, students learn about being part of a group and the responsibilities that entails, and, I believe, a greater sense of place and belonging. These are things they don't have ratings for other than the generic "School Culture".
One thing I don't understand is why more parents aren't sending their kids to this high school as a regional boarding option where local schools are less than ideal--which is a great many places!
