Best Islamic School in the area! Strong Academics and good Arabic, Quran and Islamic studies programs, lots of sports teams and activities for all ages to participate, diverse student population. Zero tolerance for bullying. Welcoming environment from teachers and staff. My child LOVES MIA School. Highly recommend
Michigan Islamic Academy is a well-rounded school with excellent academics and dedicated, highly-qualified teachers who care tremendously for the students. Islamic principles are woven into the core curriculum and most impressive are the methods in which MIA employs to empower their students. Students are heavily involved in their education and are given the opportunity to take on leadership roles. For a school with a small population and small classroom sizes, the opportunities are endless. There are various clubs for students to choose from including NHS, SGO, MUN, Arabic Honors Society, Health Club, Yearbook, Robotics, School Improvement Club, and U of M’s Peer2Peer. If you’re looking for a holistic education for your child in a safe, Islamic, diverse environment, then look no further. MIA is a rare gem of a school.
MIA is a great school and a place to send kids to be future leaders with well established positive character. One of our kids graduated from MIA and now attending dental graduate school. MIA has expanded its facilities and added modern classrooms, science labs, and a brand new gym. The school provides outstanding number of extracurricular activities ranging from student clubs, national honor societies and state wide competitions. Every student at MIA has ample opportunity to be active in multiple leadership and academic activities. The school has unique clubs that are hard to find in other schools due to the diversity of expertises of its staff, teachers and stakeholders. MIA parents participate in tens of activities and wonderful gatherings throughout the year. Good job MIA and we wish you continuous prosperity.
