This school did an excellent job with teaching me life skills and helped me develop into the person that I am today. I really found my voice once I joined the volleyball team and was able to move outside of my comfort zone. The teachers we welcoming and always made school something that I wanted to attend. We were taken on many college prep trips to show us what it was like to actually attend college in and out of state. Lastly, Principal Anderson made sure that the students voice were heard and always was interested in how we felt about situations and how we were going to celebrate or solve it.

My name is Jada Troupe, i have attended Michele Clark high school since my freshman year in high school. As the years passed teachers and staff all around the building have encouraged or at least tried to encourage every student in the school to do any and everything possible to get ready for college. All 4 years for me I’ve played soft ball, participated in build on projects & helped with things outside of school.
My experience was not the best. Mental health is barely looked upon and it is ignored. The only thing I truly enjoyed was being on a LTAB team. The school was predominantly black, anyone that was in the slightest way different was seen as weird and was bullied, and adults were always blind to it. I didn't like it here whatsoever.
