Everything is utterly political. You want the lead role in the play? Donate the most money. You want to be class president? Have a parent on the board of admin. You got in trouble? It's okay because you're on the football team! They force beliefs that are not objective to the christian faith. If you're poor and struggling, you are absolutely oppressed against. While I believe it made me stronger, that shouldn't be the goal and objective of a high school. I should have just simply LEARNED, which is what I truly did the least.
I started attending MVCA in preschool.
MVCA has good academics, they offer advanced courses including AP classes. There are several amazing teachers who strive to be not just great teachers, but also great role models. Unfortunately, with being a small school, there are not a whole lot of options for what classes you can take.
MVCA's high school has a very small student body. Unfortunately that means that it can be hard to fit in or find like-minded individuals. It also means that everyone knows everyone's business.
In terms of Christianity, MVCA offers Bible classes that promote reading and memorizing Scripture. In high school, students study the Old and New Testaments as freshmen and sophomores. Then they study Apologetics and Comparative Worldview as juniors and seniors. We also have weekly chapels with student-run worship and a sermon from a faculty member.
Most students are involved in athletics and/or fine arts. We have a strong student section and a big theatre program.

Having attended MVCA since 3rd grade, I've been able to see crazy amounts of growth and change throughout the years. It is truly like a family and the community aspect is my favorite part about the school. Going to class is more than just going in and learning about math and science, but it also entails the students being encouraged and truly cared for by their teachers.
