Miami Shores Presbyterian Church School Reviews
Rating 4.86 out of 5 14 reviews
This is an excellent school on the east side of Miami, in the lovely and historic village of Miami Shores. We moved back to the east side of Miami where there are not a lot of options for private schools. Our son is on the spectrum and we were specifically wanting a school that offered small class sizes and offered inclusion. This school has been an amazing growth experience for him not just academically, but his social-emotional skills too. He is thriving here because they have a dedicated staff of teachers that approach each child as individuals. Although the school is a Christian-based school that teaches Christian values of acceptance and kindness all are welcomed and accepted. He loves coming to school and he loves learning.
Both of my children have attended MSPCS. They started in the MSPCS pre-school. My older child moved on to middle school and was well prepared for the coursework. My younger child is still at MSPCS and loves her teacher, all the specialists (art, music, Spanish, P.E., etc.), and classmates. She is being challenged to work above her grade level in language arts and math. Class sizes are small and the students are all known and educated as individuals. The school community is warm, loving, and accepting.
Our daughter has been attending MSPCS. She has been enrolled in the Summer Camp, PK-3, and winter camp programs. The faculty has been professional and helpful in the every way. We have enjoyed interacting with all of the teachers we have met and are very happy that they are guiding and teaching our daughter. We are happy with the school facilities: classrooms, common areas, playground. Our daughter has truly enjoyed the time she has spent there and are very happy that we impressed with the school.
