Ah, Miami Senior High, Home of the Stingrees! So many fonde memories that I'm creating and have created at the school the last 3 and 1/2 years. The administration and facilty are amazing, from our AMAZING counselors that get to really know you one- on-one, to our Principal, Mr. Benny Valdez, who's REALLY good at basketball and reassuring us that we're not only in a safe school but a safe environment ( which as of late is very important). You'll love running around our halls and meeting people with different backgrounds and friends. Miami High really is the place to be!

I always knew that I was going to attend Miami Senior High School from the beginning because I knew that deep down I am a Stingaree. When I first entered high school, I remember being greeted by the Million Dollar Band in our renowned Theater for Orientations. Ever since then, I've been dedicated to Miami Senior High and all that it has to offer by being President of my class for four years currently, and for being a great asset in my school by keeping it clean and making sure the extracurricular events at school are appropriate and taken place on time. Miami Senior High School is literally the high school experience you see in movies!
The four years I have spent at Miami Senior High School has been great. I have found most teachers there are very enthusiastic about teaching and love personally connecting with students. There are numerous high achieving students who I am proud to say many of which I have been friends and peers with - together, we all uplift each other as we cry, laugh and live together. The various amounts of clubs are equal access to any and everyone. Being apart of a club means you have found a family. Though some uninterested attitudes of certain students/teachers and food served in the cafeteria have room for improvement, Miami High has what it takes to help make a student smart and successful. I am a proud Stingaree!
