Ah, Miami Senior High, Home of the Stingrees! So many fonde memories that I'm creating and have created at the school the last 3 and 1/2 years. The administration and facilty are amazing, from our AMAZING counselors that get to really know you one- on-one, to our Principal, Mr. Benny Valdez, who's REALLY good at basketball and reassuring us that we're not only in a safe school but a safe environment ( which as of late is very important). You'll love running around our halls and meeting people with different backgrounds and friends. Miami High really is the place to be!

Miami Senior High is truly a disappointment. Don't let the million dollar upgrades fool you, the teachers tried their very best to give us a great learning experience, however, the administration is beyond incompetent and a burden to students. The administration in that school cares more about their poorly performing (academically and on the field) football team and games than they did about the academics, arts, music, other sports teams, SAT/ACT, and college prep. Don't expect much support from the administration for college preparation. They only care about the money and having you graduate with the bare minimum, nothing else.
Miami Senior High School is an experience like no other. The school is filled to the brim with school spirit and involvement. Graduating is an accomplishment; however, leaving Miami Senior High is overwhelming. Miami Senior High fosters education and community. Teachers who love to teach can be found in every subject, and administration that is just as excited as the students about school spirit and involvement are roaming the hallways and helping students who may need it. I recommended Miami Senior High to any student who loves education, but also wants to be involved in clubs, activities and community service.
