Miami Palmetto Senior High School really is a school for everybody. The school has such a plethora of students that it's nearly impossible to not make friends and meet all different kinds of people. They also offer a large amount of classes to take with so many interesting electives to choose from. The sports are well valued within the school, as are other groups such as band and the dancing team. Palmetto takes it's school pride seriously! The school administrators and student body are great at planning events to bring classes and students together, and put on a lot of wonderful events after school. A personal favorite is the drama department's musical! The school has pretty good faculty, many types of students, countless classes to take, and is just brimming with opportunities!
I absolutely love my school! It depends on everyones experience, but I have ended up with the majority of my teachers being amazing. I have learned so much, had so much fun, and will never forget my high school years. Getting involved makes high school ten times better, as well as challenging yourself. This is because the harder classes, tend to have better teachers, thus learning more and better along the way. I highly recommend coming to Palmetto, you will not regret it!
Miami Palmetto High School is one of the best schools I’ve been to. The school is very big, which allows for students’ creativity, to thrive. There are so many opportunities to find what you love. They produce plays, have a band, and an orchestra which I participate in. They have a dance team, and so many amazing clubs, such as: the science honors society, robotics, thespians, alliance, and music honor society. Also, there are many amazing teachers along with many opportunities to participate in advanced placement classes, and Dual enrollment with Miami-Dade College, which allows for students to get ahead. My favorite thing about Palmetto is the spirit. We have amazing pep rallies, and football games. The sports at that high school amazing.
