For every teacher I've been thought by at Miami Edison Sr. High, I can strongly say was both a learning and fun adventure. Because teachers were able to understand situations individuals face daily, it made it easier for me to want to learn and cooperate with that particular teacher. Respect is mandatory in every classroom I've been in; this setting of the class allow students to be more engage due to the fact they were not being judged base on their opinions. In conclusion the reason why any teacher have chosen to be at Miami Edison Sr. High is to make a difference since there's minimum advantages for them in a low income school.
My experience at Miami Edison has been the best experience I have had with any high school. Mostly the school is very co-operative and because it is relatively a small school theres a lot of stufdent-teacher relationships built. At Miami Edison you are treated as if you're more than a number. The administrators hold you accountable for every decision you make in the school whether it be academically or in the clubs and activities. We have a lot of clubs and activities but limited resources due to a lack of student population. If there was one thing I would voucher to change the amount of money the school recieves for each student enrolled, because i think students are worth more.
Throughout my 3 years at Miami Edison Senior High School , I experienced the best help, and guidance there is from administrators and teachers at Miami Edison. Miami Edison is an all around school to help students grow and become ready for the future. Miami Edison takes pride in preparing its students for college but if that students wants to head a different direction in the future Miami Edison would put forth maximum effort to help that student reach their goals.
