Miami Coral Park has a wonderful diverse population of students. Not only does this create a cultural learning environment but it educates us into appreciating other races and ethnicities, ensuring that we conduct ourselves as civil and respectful citizens in the future. If I could change one thing at Miami Coral Park, I would suggest congratulating the school’s scholars more publicly. Our school has a huge and fantastic magnet program that has allowed students to be involved in competitions that they never receive recognition for. I believe that if the school give these students and academic clubs more recognition, more incoming students, and even existing students, will join the magnet program and take advanced placement courses. This can be extremely beneficial to the school and increase the overall experience at Miami Coral Park.

I graduated from Coral Park in 2019. Overall I really enjoyed my time there. I made many friends, learned a lot, joined a ton a of clubs and had many great teachers. This isn't to say there aren't any bad teachers but overall the good outnumber the bad. Ultimately, your experience here will be dictated by your willingness to come out of your shell and get involved. Since freshman year, I was involved in the school's engineering club and magnet program. From this I formed many tightly knit friendships and learned a great deal about STEM concepts. The school's dual enrollment program is also phenomenal. Courses offered beforehand will prepare for the advanced material. Many of the teachers put forth maximum effort to ensure you grasp all the necessary concepts and will even stay after school to tutor you. Overall I was very satisfied with my time at Coral Park. If you live in Florida and are considering going into the fields of architecture or engineering, I highly recommend going here.
I liked that the AP classes actually teach and benefit students. The school also has a very good music and art program along with our incredible ramtech program. Although the school shines in the arts there is very little funding put into them, instead money goes to the sports which are lackluster at best, the only exception being the baseball team, but the rest are just horrible. I would like to see the school gear more towards its strong points which are engineering, AP courses, and the arts.
