Having been a Miami Beach Senior High School student for the past 3 years, I can say that it has been a great experience for me as it has brought my attention to many opportunities regarding my music. I have had the pleasure of knowing 3 music teachers, all of which who recognized my flute abilities, that recommended special programs for woodwind players outside of school. However, I would like to see a greater devotion from the school faculty to the mental health and safety of students. Teachers tend to equate academic success with assigning exorbitant amounts of homework, which is not often the case. A deeper flexibility from instructors is needed in order for students to want to complete assignments to gain knowledge, not only for the sake of doing them.
I like the teachers in Miami Beach Senior High school, they're all helpful and kind. They know how to teach and are patient with the students. The teachers and staff always encourage the students to graduate and follow rules. They prepare you for the future such as college or careers. You learn everything you need in Miami beach senior high school. It's also a drug-free school, I haven't seen any bullying and there are students from other countries as well. So, it's a very diverse school and the students are nice, if you need help they teach you or they will translate for you.
Miami Beach Senior High School is an amazing school which i will attend for my four years of high school. Right when i started my first day at Miami Beach Senior High School i was very nervous as everyone is when they start attending somewhere new and not having the familiarity with the staff and students, but as time progressed i realized that being in a public school i am exposed to so many different personalities and people in which i get to chose what type of people i want to allow to come along with me through my educational journey. The school is also so vast so along the years i have made friends with so many new people and being in a public school allows you to not always be so dependent on staff or on anyone, it gives you(the student) the freedom to make your own decisions based on what's considered correct and incorrect.
