Miami Arts Charter is the perfect school for aspiring artists. The arts programs offer quality training. Besides education, the teachers try their hardest to give each student new opportunities by exposing them to performance opportunities, workshops, and master classes with professionals. I’m a senior in dance that can speak from experience. The faculty does a great job in treating students like adults ready to enter adultshood as a profesional artist.

I've been going to this school for 7 years now (6th to 12th grade); I really don't want to leave. I'm in the theater program, and it is one of the most professional and loving environments I've been in. Students are taught to push themselves, to take on leadership roles, and are honestly worked to the bone (at least in high school). It's an extremely fulfilling experience, and the theater teachers are loving, understanding, accepting, and really tough individuals. They've made me who I am today, and because of this school, and the faculty involved, I'm proud to say that I am pursuing acting in my college career. I strive to do this for a living, not just on stage but in film, and it's reassuring to know that the teachers and staff that work with us students care about our success so much. If you're confused on an arts school to go to, are in/going in to high school, Miami Arts Charter is the way to go by far.
I like that Miami Arts was a school focus on the Arts. They’re aren’t many schools in Miami who focus on that aspect which is great. However, the school focused solely and completely on the arts to the point that students were academically lacking and underachieving. Test scores and SAT scores were low because of this. Another problem was the teachers never stayed for long. They’d either quit or be fired and it took months for a new hire to come in. They did incorporate SAT prep and dual enrollment but that was only after 3 years of the school being open and I had already graduated. Overall, nice school for the arts but sets you back below grade level in academics.
