Great atmosphere! Really prepared me for the next step (college). I hope to see more activities and classes offered in the future, and that more college classes will be offered to high school students

Rapoport Academy Meyer high school is unlike any other high school in the state of Texas, and perhaps in the entire United States. Rapoport is small, each class consisting of about 50 students. There is a huge focus on college readiness at Rapoport, and students are expected to behave like they would in a college classroom. Most of the teachers are very young, which is very helpful in establishing a community full of fraternity, understanding, and willingness to learn. Rapoport had six core values that both students and faculty are held to, and these values are taken seriously. My favorite things about Rapoport are the closeness between students, and the many college classes offered. You can take online classes, or take classes on an actual college campus, and without those experiences I would not be as prepared for college.
Academics are definitely prioritised, but the current schedule is subpar. Block schedules were a lot easier to handle rather than having seven classes in a day. It's exhaustive and I'd like to see a change before or after I graduate.
