Metropolitan Business Academy Reviews

Metropolitan Business Academy is an amazing school for students. Although it is a small school, it has its benefits. The academic system at Metro is wonderful, it allows students to take pathway classes. The pathway classes offered at Metro are Business Finance, Digital Media, Law and Health. In which ever pathway you choose you will get to take specific classes of these pathway. These classes will teach you incredible knowledge that you will need in the future and in your future career. The grading system here is also something remarkable. Metro grades student by (high to low) exemplary, competent-exemplary, competent, emerging, novice and no evidence. This grading system allows students to see where they are and where they should improve in. Metro does something what other school don't offer and that is SLC or Student Led Conference. SLC's gives student the opportunity to explain their grade. The teachers here are very supportive and helpful, you can ask them any questions you have.
I love the school and its environment so much, as a student, the entire atmosphere has a very welcoming feeling to it. Compared to other high schools in the area, it's relatively smaller with about 400 students so having teacher connections and relationships are much more common and normal. Usually, high school teachers are not able to have a deep connection with their students, but there's a very large difference in MBA. Personally, I have really good relationships with my favorite teachers and they've helped me so much with their connections.
The best and worst parts of my high school experience at Metropolitan Business Academy is that there is always teacher their to give you a helping hand. The only downside about Metro is that there aren’t many AP classes. I would like to see that change, before I leave high school to start collage.
